Yacht charter prices in Greece typically range from around €1,800 per week for a small bareboat sailing yacht in the shoulder season, up to €45,000+ per week for a fully crewed luxury catamaran in peak summer.
The final price depends on yacht size, charter type (bareboat, skippered or crewed), season and additional services such as provisioning or transfers. We'll send you a transparent, itemised quote tailored to your trip.
Yes - for a bareboat charter in Greece you must hold a recognised sailing licence (such as RYA Day Skipper, ASA, ICC or equivalent) and have a second qualified crew member acting as co-skipper.
If you do not hold a licence, no problem - we'll provide a professional skipper for the duration of your charter, and you can simply enjoy the sailing.
May, June, September and early October offer the most comfortable conditions: warm weather, lighter winds and fewer crowds in the anchorages.
July and August are peak season with reliable winds (especially the famous Meltemi in the Cyclades) and a livelier island atmosphere - book well in advance for these months.
Most Vlamis yacht charters depart from Alimos Marina in Athens - the largest charter base in the Eastern Mediterranean. From Alimos you can reach the Saronic Gulf in a few hours and the Cyclades within a day's sail.
We also operate from our Lefkada base at D-Marin Marina and from Palairos in the Ionian. Both available as departure points on request.

Yes Vlamis Yachts operates catamarans for charter across Greece, including the Lagoon 400 S2 and other wide-beam catamarans suited to island sailing. Catamarans are particularly popular with families and larger groups thanks to their stability, generous deck space and multiple cabins.
Catamaran charter in Greece typically starts from around €4,000 per week in the shoulder season. A skipper can be added if you do not hold a catamaran endorsement on your sailing licence. Request a quote and we'll match you to the right vessel for your dates and group size.
